Default Harman Kardon retro fit - how to

I've looked but can't see any How To on retro fitting the HK Audio set up - anyone know of one?

Hi Ragman

I sourced Harmon Kardon parts and with some great work by Nick at Austin Garages he installed the system for me and it's proved a great compliment to my ZT-T.

However be warned it requires some pretty major surgery and I cannot thank Nick enough for his handy work/attention to detail on fitting for me. Also I done it for my estate which has a different length harness and subwoofers to the saloon.

I was lucky to stumble on a ZT-T being scrapped with HK installed. I ripped out the main satnav/audio loom, amplifier, subwoofer and rear door tweeters for this install. Alot of trim needs to come out to accomdate the loom.

Let me know if you would like me to PM you Nicks contact details as he can advise better then myself exact work involved.

Hope this gives you an in site and confirms it can be done.

Regards

Russ

Thumbs up

Hi Ragman

If you win, it may be worth asking if they have the small grill that sits on top of the rear parcel shelf as well. This should have the HK logo on it. Hard to get hold of on their own.

Good luck.
