Sorry guys - I am a technophobe, so can't post pics at present. You all know what an 800 looks like, but what I can tell you is that there is a front bumper corner scuff (so unnoticeable that I never bothered in the 13 years I have owned her), a small dent in one rear door (done by an unknown person 8 years ago), but not worth attending to, and a patch of "hard" surface rust about an inch square on the trailing edge of one rear wing ( not on the turn under). Otherwise she is virtually immaculate, with no stone chips or scratches. The paint is shiny, without any lacquer peel. tyres are less than half worn (not cheapos), brakes and exhaust have several years left in them. The windscreen was replaced 2 years ago (with a correct dark blue top band), and the battery is a year old. Engine is smooth and quiet, and the auto box functions perfectly. Alloys are unkerbed, and very shiny.

Hope this helps.

This car is now sold, and is going to tour Europe for Charity in June!

Sorry I don't know how to mark the post "SOLD".

Mods please help.

Trust Simon, a totally honest and up front guy, I should know I bought my Connie from him. Me, I always lusted after anything from the 800 range but never found the right one. Having seen Simon's beautiful Vitesse I realise they're out of my league for the time being, but who knows, one day, some day, one will come along that I can afford to keep without selling my Connie.
If I win the lottery tonight I'll buy no questioned asked, along with my other two favourite British cars that I've not owned and always missed out on, 1968 Austin Farina styled Cambridge and what I think is the most underrated car in it's time, the Land Crab based Austin 3 litre.
Good luck with selling at a sensible price.
