For sale: Late 2003 mg zt+ automatic genuine low mileage
I am sad to sell my pride and joy MG ZT+ AUTOMATIC 2.5 V6 petrol engine, half leather with matrix design upholstery
I'm only reluctantly selling this as I need the space and have bought a new car. I have carefully owned and looked after the car for the past 18 Months and it has been super reliable and good running. I have looked after the car meticulously. It has covered nearly 44,000 genuine miles, but most of them are weekend and motorway miles so there is plenty of life left in the engine.I have only covered 8,000 miles since i bought the car It's new MOT until Nov 2013 and Taxed until the end of December 2012. The car has full service history from the previous owner and I have maintained the car myself since owning it. I have lots of receipts and paperwork for the work carried out and parts bought for this car. It has had regular oil services more often than required by the service schedule to prolong the engine life and wear They include:
I've also performed some general service work on the engine, such as cleaning and, unblocking the plenum drains and replacing the pollen filter. I have just completed an oil service (changed the oil, oil filter in Oct 2012) and air filter change, pollen filter, and thermostat housing last week so nothing needs doing for the next 12 months. Wheels are showing general wear and tear signs with some minor curbing around the edges but nothing too serious can be refurbished for an additinal price. I have had the car wheel alignment regularly checked using their state of the art 4 wheel laser alignment. The front tyres are also very new, the rear tyres are new michelins pilots only two months old. Interior is the matrix design with leather, Interior wise the car is in excellent shape apart from the drivers seat which has the usual split/wear on the drivers side which is a very common issue on most MG's due to age and wear and seat base this will be replaced before sale. Recent gas refill on A/c. Exterior the car is in very good and and no damage on paintwork, minor expected marks and chips. The car will come with all old MOT's and the service paperwork and I have kept all of them, as well as the 2 working keys (remember, replacements cost £80-100 including the key cutting). I've described the car as accurately as possible but feel free to ask any questions . If you need any more photographs, send me a message and I will get them for you as I do not know how to load them here. The car is located in London . Looking for £2990 ono. Purchased for nearly £4,700 about 18 months ago. PRICE REDUCED DUE TO MOVING ABROAD £2490 ono Last edited by kash3; 8th December 2012 at 23:41.. Some pictures may help as well as the engine spec, 1.8, 1.8T, 2.0 or 2.5, although you do say timing belts changed, so I'm assuming it's a petrol variant, but it would help if you clarified to assist prospective purchasers.

The profile says 2.5 but the 50mpg in the advert must be for a diesel.

States 'new spark plugs very recent' & 'timing belts' changed so from that i'm assuming it's a ZT180 (2.5)
50mpg is very optimistic though. Sounds like a nice car, pics would be good. |

There is no belt on the diesel, did you have the chain replaced?

The car looks very nice but I think you need bigger pictures.
The ones you have uploaded are very small even when opened. At least we now know it's definately petrol ! |
