Default 2002 2.5 Connie. SALE WITHDRAWN

2002 Connie 2.5V6 manual, 79000 miles, 6 months MOT, tax just out.

I've hung on to this as long as I can but I can no longer keep it or any other car at present, as I am out of work. This is a most reluctant sale. I bought the car from a member on here who rescued it from storage, had it serviced and the 2 front springs replaced, then sold it to me. I've had it 6 months.

During my 6 months I've...

Replaced the rattly manifold
Replaced the VIS motors with repaired ones
Replaced the broken air filter housing
Replaced the thermostat and pipework

Replaced the cooling fan

Fitted stainless steel fixing on the front panel

Replaced the lower engine mounting

Replaced exhaust hangers
Fitted a DMGRS undertray fitting kit in place of cable ties
Fitted new mats with fixings

The car was T4'd by Marinabrian on 14th January 2014, there are no fault codes and the VIS motors were confirmed as working well.

I bought the car for its excellent condition, as a keeper with no intention to sell, and you can see its condition for yourself - a couple of tiny dings but barely noticeable.

The interior is lovely and original, with most pre-project drive parts still fitted, including real wood dash.

The underside is like new, and the exhaust is good. It comes with 2 keys.

The car drives really well, sounds great and drives anywhere without fuss, including several long trips recently. There is no other reason I am selling it other than being out of work and can no longer hang on to it or any other car at present. If you want a well sorted example with no issues that just starts and drives normally, you won't be disappointed.

A walnut wheel is fitted at present but will be sold separately unless the new owner wishes it.

The car is located in North London, 10 min from the M25.

£695.

David, I,m gutted for you and I hope you find something on the job front sooner or later.
As for the car, I can concur, its beautiful and it was a real pleasure for me last summer, turning it from an average looking thing, to a stunning looking 75.
Whoever buys it wont be disappointed, that's for sure

Thanks Paul, I'm very sad that its come to this, but I have no choice. There is no way I would be selling it otherwise, there is years left in the and thats exactly what I had intended. I hope you dont take it as a reflection on the work you did with it.

Forgot to mention also that when on T4 with Marinabrian, lazy vent and bathrobe options were enabled, also he enabled the ECU to provide fault codes to an OBD reader for future use.

David, I'm so sorry to hear this. I do hope you soon find employment. I know what it's like to have to count the pennies! Anyway, please stay on here wont you. I need somebody to have a go at! Good luck selling the car. Somebody's going to get a bargain.

Chad.
