She's an excellent runner but as I have no service history, I cannot guarantee the cam-belts. I took a chance on her because she looked well looked after and thought, if the cam-belts were a problem they should have gone by now. She hasn't let me down and now done 96,500 of which 4,500 faultless miles have been covered by me. Mid range and full kick down gear changes are perfect and the only reason I'm selling is because I finally found the Connie Tourer I always wanted. Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Any queries please email me.

There are four large pictures of my car further down this post, many thanks to Simon for uploading them for me, I must learn how to do it myself!

SORRY TO THE SAY THIS BUT MY LOCAL SALVAGE DEALER HAS JUST 'PHONED TO SAY HIS OFFER OF £250 WILL EXPIRE ON FEBRUARY 12TH. SO UNLESS SOMEONE BUYS HER FOR THE SAME PRICE BEFORE THEN SHE 'S GOING FOR SCRAP.

Update, I have decided not to accept the salvage offer but to continue seeking a buyer, that way I can continue enjoying my lovely Rover right until someone buys or the MOT runs out. This decision will cost me £6 a day but where else could I get such pleasure for £6, certainly not at my local Odeon or on Sky Movies. Optimistic I know, but I'm convinced that somewhere there's a Rover lover who'll kick themselves if they miss out.
just seen yr update alan - great news
i'd have this car today if I could only convince my dearly beloved wife to give a 75 a try ! I've just had to sell a near mint 2001 model club cdt in white gold !
she wouldn't budge when I tried to get rid of her german eurobox
obviously the only reason I was selling my club was I've just replaced it with a connie tourer
all the best with yr sale tho alan
I've been offering it around to everyone I speak to !
when I think of the times when someone says to me
'do ya know where I can get a cheap car quick' cos I just wrecked mine ?
regards
chris

Stupid question for the money, but will this have a new MOT?
Only reason I ask is that there's chap on Pistonheads looking to get into a cheap comfy car, and I'll send him the link if that's the case.

Hi!
Sorry but I won't MOT at this price, apart from which, if I did MOT her I'd end up putting alternating SORNs on the Club and Connie. It's a temptation I'm trying to avoid.
Regards,
Alan

Hope someone has it off you mate

A cracking price and had I not just sold my house then I would have it as a little project to work on, but money is being diverted elsewhere with the house move and would be a while before I could buy...

Glad you are taking a route to save the car though mate

Thanks Petetourer!
I'm pleased to say a Rover lover has bought her.
I'm glad I held out to avoid her going to scrap.

I'm pleased to say it was indeed sold to another member, that's why I only advertised on this site, I had to be sure of finding a good home for her.
