Discs for Hi Line [CD]
Urgent need of advice
I am just about ready to fit a 2002 Hi-Line package with a markIII computer into my 2001 75. The CD Disc is missing and I wish to purchase one. I have looked at the Navtec site which doesn't do TMC. I have also looked at the VDO Dayton [2009/2010] disc. My question is:- Will the VDO one be compatible? It is about £40 cheaper than Navtec and if I purchase it will I loose any functions by buying it? If I purchase a Navtec one for a 2002 MarkIII unit will it be an up to date version? Please advise, and in advance, thank you for your time. Rob |

The VDO discs do normally work on our units but
Navteq and Dayton have both now dropped TMC so make sure it is definitely on disc before purchase. The NAVTEQ discs are up to date (as far as possible) and work regardless of year of manufacturer of Sat Nav. The 2010 discs will work fine in a 2001 on-wards Sat Nav computer player. Thanks for your advice John
A very lucid account. I can now get organized and part with my son's inheritance. Thanks again Rob |
