I reckon Debs should give that a nice gentle massage with some lotion.....

Morning all.

Another "nothing" sort of morning here.

Overcast, dry and not too chilly.

Tilers finished yesterday so it's getting all the skirtings etc. prepped, painted and back on next.

Looks good and much more practical and sensible for Quizzie too

Take it easy

Jon, I have emailed the manufacturer to ask them if there is an alternative battery to the 18650. Are pensioners rich?

As you might already be aware Phil they come in different physical sizes so you need to be sure to get the right one otherwise it might not fit correctly if at all. I have bought the 18500 size which is 18mm x 50mm and it does look physically similar to the 18650 which is 18mm x 65mm. I bought them to have a go at reviving a laptop battery as it failed within two years from new after I last replaced it. I have yet to use them but I won't risk using them out of the box. I also bought a Nitecore UM4 intelligent charger on Banggood and I will use it to test and refresh the batteries before using them.

Thank you very much Chris. Now I have learned something as I did not know 18650 is 18mm x 65mm. The other problem I have had is finding a multi charger for the battery. The only one I could find online here is a single battery charger which has a green light and a red light. The red light shows it is charging, but it is a painfully slow process and I am fearful the battery could overcharge and catch fire or explode if left to charge overnight?

Unfortunately, there is no Amazon, no Argos, no eBay in Kenya. I have seen Bangood advertising. I can order from Amazon Uk via a 3rd party in London but it is very expensive as it uses DHL to send stuff out. I may well have to wait to make purchases until I am next in the UK, May/June.
