Yep I’ve made contact and will pop over and have a look, better to see the problem first hand than just guess at it.

Popped over to have a look at the car earlier today, only had a 30 minute window as had other things to do like collect my daughter, but managed to get all the lights working and also sorted out the issue from the boot while I was there
Problem seemed to be the classic LSM issue + a faulty bulb I’ve seen so many times lol
Happy days when you help someone out
Mick

Mick glad you sorted the problem - what exactly is the LSM-Faulty bulb issue - symptoms and how to sort? Don't recall seeing this issue before.

It’s not one issue it’s actually two issues i.e. a faulty bulb in the back rear light bulb holder, and the LSM fault is often corrosion on the connector block where it meets at the LSM, i’ve seen these cause all sorts of problems when they go green and corroded, some LSM‘s have even been known to catch fire, i’ve also seen LSM’s where the back light stays on all night and that’s not good.

Thanks Mick for your expertise. A fault I’d never have found, found in the time it takes for me to make a cuppa.

Picture below of the LSM and the plug that can have corroded pins. ( I don't know whose pic it is. )
