Default Need for engine conditioning?

Hi I've got a 1.8t with 110,000 miles on the clock. It pulls fine but after starting up I get blue smoke and it has started to use some oil. It passed it's test fairly recently so I can either run it for the next 11 months or do something about it now. Is there a magic cure?
