Default Boring airbag light problem

Hi all. I have a problem with the air bag light. It keeps coming on. I go under the seats a play with the yellow connectors, pull them apart and put them back, and all is well. Drive down the road and within a mile or so it is back on. Any ideas. Can I spray the connectors with wd40.

OK have tried with contact cleaner. No change. It will not go out. Play with connectors and goes out, but comes on again in a couple of miles.

Are the connectors secured to the seat by a plastic tie or are they sitting free of the seat? I ask this as i had intermittent warning lights every week - a friendly auto sparks had a look - said the connectors had been secured to the seat by a plastic tie - so he cut the tie - and all has been fine since then .

Thanks for that. One is secured the other is loose. So will try and cut the tie and see if that helps.

I find it better to remove the connector altogether, either solder the wires together or replace with a better quality connector.

I does annoy me too. You take the car to the garage for an MOT. The guy has to move it 30ft to put it on the ramp, and they move the blody seat. Pratts

I'm having trouble with the side impact sensor. Where is this sensor situated. Is it in front or behind the chassis crossmember? I wish to know before removing carpets.
