Cool

Took the 400bhp V8 ZTT for a run up to the garden centre at Ivybridge, I’ve missed giving it some welly. And the bonus is that now stops a whole lot better. Will need to get the front wheels rebalanced But other than that she still runs as smooth.

Love this car but not as much as my 1.8t.

If you park on a flat surface as I do then leave the car in gear with the hand brake off. Stops those shoes rusting to the drums and lowering the braking efficiency.---Been doing it for at least 20 years problem free.--

Back to the scrapyard just before it closed to grab an o ring to get us out of trouble!!

SteveG then turned up from Norwich with his newly acquired 2.0 V6, a quick T4 session revealed a dead vis motor and no other faults

A quick cuppa before tackling my sticky rear brake caliper, that’s when this greeted me.

Thankfully the bolts all played ball and a replacement arm was fitted just before the darkness fell.
A bit of epoxy resin will soon sort that out Andy. Bit of black paint over the top of it, and all good.🔳☑️🔵

As it was a nice day I Took the old girl on a little spin to Rowley picnic area, that's on the Waskerley Way cycle path, just off the A68 about two miles SW of Consett, for a coat of Turtlewax. Nice quiet place to do it as at the moment I only have on street parking.

One of a group of passing cyclists stopped for a chat. He previously had a 75 though it was a company car, and asked if any low mileage examples were still available, to which I said yes, but at a price.

Managed a few snaps.

Later I booked her next MOT for Monday 02 November, the first day possible for to preserve the anniversary of the current expiry date.
