Morning chillers, I trust you are all well. I haven't posted much of late due to a painful eye infection, as I am typing this my eye is streaming and hurting

Good Lord - Carole, everyone's favourite weather girl, is wearing some sort of support strapping on her upper torso this morning

Sat here preparing for another day of trials and tribulations with the boiler install. Yesterday, it took ages to drain the system before the boys could start work on it - the stuff that came out looked a bit like waste engine oil mixed with thick syrup. Then we discovered that the last kitchen fitter had wired up some of the extra sockets - with live connected to neutral !!
We discovered this when one of the plumbers put a screw into the dining room wall, and said screw hit the offending wiring and knocked the power out. Further investigation revealed the wrongly wired connections - so we've got a sparky coming at 8.00am

Morning Rod. Wow! That's lucky the wiring was spotted before something nasty happened.

Morning from a bright, sunny and warm Scotland. Anybody else have bother getting online earlier, I kept getting a message that the site was taking too long to respond

My driving prohibition is over, going to give the beast a quick once over, fluid levels, tyre pressures etc. First outing will be to Tesco, been using the local Coop which has nowhere near the same selection.
