Mentioned I've been looking around for a new model kit challenge, I've discovered an Airfix 1/24 scale WW2 Hawker Typhoon, one of my favourite aircraft. There are a couple of build reviews online, the detail is astounding!
This is the cockpit/wing spar sub assembly.  20mm wing mounted cannons  The completed article which someone has mounted on a diorama.  Its not a cheap model but I'm very seriously tempted. |
