Good afternoon all.
Not been posting for a few days due to BT's incompetence We've had a fault on our line for a while where there's been a crackle on the line and the broadband has been going off intermittently. I reported this and an engineer came out who said he wasn't qualified to do the repair He went away saying he'd put a request in for an engineer who could do the job. 3 days later, another engineer turned up and couldn't find said fault ar first Didn't hear from him until the following day when he turned up again to find the fault The day went by and heard nothing from him, got to 7:30pm and thought I'd phone BT. The guy said the fault had been fixed, I said to him that it hadn't because we had no phone or broadband. He said the engineer had booked the fault down as fixed The guy said he'd send another engineer out to find out what had happened The engineer turned up, had a look, and discovered the previous engineer had connected our line to the farm behind us and left their line unconnected He couldn't do anything about it because he wasn't qualified to connect lines So, we now have to wait until Monday before a qualified engineer can come out for a 5 minute job of reconnecting us
Is it just me or, is this slightly unbelievable FFS
I'm posting this from my mobile with 2 bars of signal so, it takes forever
Hopefully back on Monday folks, be good

Ouch! What a ridiculous situation these "engineers" put you through. It's like a carry on film.

I had a letter off Virgin Media a few weeks ago informing us the broadband will be down for a whole day in a few weeks time. I'm dreading it, It'll mean I have to talk to the missus
