The question is - do these mean I'm going to enjoy another fine, sunny day tomorrow?

...or is there an enormous fire to the West of me?

I've never paid more than £250 to insure any of my cars & some of them have been powerful monsters.

I've had insurance with Adrian Flux for decades on my yanks & custom cars but the quote he gave me for this Rover was over £700 I just cant weigh it up

I've repaired my Chevy & I can get that insured fully comp for £219 Having to cough up another £400+ to insure this rover might be too much plus the missus wants the Chevy back on the road I don't know what to do yet.

A country & western themed wedding sounds very cool, We used to go meet up with some friends on the Birchwood country & western themed ranch in Lytham st Annes which sadly has just closed. It was great fun seeing everybody dressed in period cowboy gear.

I'm paying £630 for both my 75's including breakdown cover

Default New old car

Hello Fellow 75's
I have just bought my 2nd 75, this one is a 2.0 V6 although it has 100K on the clock and is a 2002 model. There is no rust and even has the original "get you home spare" plus all its tools in original packing with Rover labels.
The only issue is the alternator bearing is a tad noisy, no chance to do anything but fit a replacement unit I guess...... I will also replace the seats with Leather 75 version soon.
I like the styling of the car and it is quite nimble despite the car being 14 years old and the engine oil is fairly clean and only 2 owners since new. I had to replace the battery last week (Radio code lost) and I will contact Lynsey Pemburton for a new radio code as I don't have the original log book/code.
It does have 2x Michelins on the front, good tread remaining but the rears are something else, not so good tread wise so these will be replaced with the same type as the front.

I like the forum, good info and a wealth of knowledge on hand.
