Good evening Steve, not long to go before Christmas. How do like to celebrate it?

Its a great shame George has gone
Never be the same
He could have been put on gardening leave for time rather than a ban as its not his favourite time of the year. It was wrong what was printed but I have seen worse got away with on this forum.

I think it's a bit like the 'three counts and your out' type of thing Jay

George knows he was treading a thin line and that line broke!

It's a great shame and we will all miss his wit and sense of fun........but them be the rules and we all have to play within them or suffer the consequences of our actions .
George is pragmatic about it and will stay in touch with us all one way or the other and hopefully we will catch up with him at meets in the future etc.

I'm quite upset George has gone, only met him a couple of times but found him to be a genuinely nice bloke and, despite what he wrote, is/was one of the good guys.
I know he was treading on thin ice but, still seems a shame that one of the forums major contributors has gone.
I'll miss his wit and humorous posts.
Merry Xmas George

It's a great shame Paul and I consider George a proper friend.

I for one can't wait to get back up to Scotland again next year and have a meet and chew the fat over a good meal or two, or three

Totally agree. Ok, he broke a rule but I see people circumventing the swear filter ALL THE TIME and nothing happens.

This just adds to the current mood in my house! George and I were good mates, having run the Carter Bar meet together, but he knew the rules, he knew he was sailing close to the wind.

I will have to find another Twerk/Elf for the Christmas Panto. Any suggestions?

No one is going to stop me talking about one of my mates, where in the rule book does it say you can't speak of your friends?

Nowhere Andy don't worry, it's just George himself who has seen fit to cut himself off from the club now by his own actions.
