The most painful part was the blooming great big carpet burn on my left knee .I hadnt a clue how long I was out for ,but I had a cracking headache the next day. A few days later another small drama happened. I left the back door open for about 20 minutes one and somehow a Squirrel managed to find its way into the house closely followed by the cat chasing him..It was total chaos in the living room. The Squirrel resembled a child's power ball bouncing from wall to wall , up the curtains etc with the cat going mental trying to catch it. It took the best part of 30 minutes to get the cat out of the way and get the squirrel out. Luckily no damage was caused to any ornaments by the rabbid creature and peace and quiet returned again. You've got to look on the funny side of it..:-)))
Talk about about bad luck, but I have to admit to having a good laugh, especially at Tom and Jerry

Puts me in mind of when I got my my parent's their first microwave. They heated a pie of some description . . . . dad's opinion was that can't be long enough so heated it a bit longer. They ended up with rubber pastry and both had indigestion later in the evening.

Morning David, what brings you to the asylum

Just reading Quantas is to commence non-stop flights to Australia . . . . 17 hours with your ass welded to a seat in a Dreamliner. Couldn't handle that. Long haul flights just about give me terminal boredom.

Hi Steve..
I had a similar experience with my belated mum..When she had her first microwave she insisted in trying it out on a pizza and that I was to be the guinea pig who ate it. She must of cooked the pizza for 10 minutes and when it came out it was like a frisbee..In fact I went out with it in the back garden and threw it into the adjoining farmers field. It was the best frisbee throw I've ever managed. Does anybody remember the days when it was considered the norm to get a professional in to check that your microwave was safe to use on a yearly bases..It's unheard of nowadays..

It's very grey and over cast here in North Wales. Just hoping it's lifts so I can go for a bike ride later on..
