Good morning all, another beautiful start to the day here and long may it last.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss of JC Derek, we had to have our faithful German Shepherd, Sabre put to sleep a couple of years ago. I was very upset and cried a lot, pet's can be more faithful and loving than any human could ever be.

Not so good morning to you both we know JC was the love of your lives, Dawn and I are so sad for you both, pets become so much part of the family, I am sure when you talk to them they understand what you are saying.

I am also sure what with your current health situation it has knocked you back a bit, take solace that JC was loved and cherished by both of you and will be fondly remembered within the family.

For Derek and Lillian

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved pet finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears pr1ck forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over rainbow bridge together.

RIP lovely JC

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Good morning everyone, cloudy overcast day here.
So sorry to hear of JC Derek, Losing pets is a horrible thing to go through, the good thing is that he had a great life with you.

Good morning all.

So sorry to hear about JC Derek, never easy losing a loved pet.
Best to look back and remember the good times knowing that you gave JC a loving home for all those years.

Still miss our 17 year old Lab/Alsatian cross and she died 8 years ago
