MIA's Steve Strat/Rod....any news?
What have you had done Phil? Apologies - I don't manage to be in "the zone" that much - so probably missed the details

Good morning Clive, how are you?

On Friday I had an umbilical hernia repaired under GA. The surgeon said he had to go in deep as the hernia was quite big, hence the 10" cut. Despite that, I was sent home the same day. Not a problem as I am doing really well. Aside from that I have 2 aneurysms. Everything else is good I have since discovered that steri-strips are a favourite for tummy tucks, as the scarring is less for ops done along the bikini line I should be so lucky

Thank you Derek, we have the gloves and the hospital gave us the 'stick on' dressing. The wound is not oozing any more blood. It looks as though it's dried up. I have been told not to get it wet for 14 days. It's no hardship not having a bath or a shower, as I am not a stinky person Some folks get into a state if they can't have a shower every day.

You went through it yourself and much worse, after the op on your neck.
