Pale blue, that's too dark.

Just caught a glimpse of the Red Arrows displaying over the official opening of the Queensferry Crossing, the new Forth road bridge.

I didn't get any brake disc wear advisories last time but I think it's time for new ones all round.

Good morning Ian, I don't envy you having to put up with sciatica as it is a painful condition to have to bear. The discs, pads and tyres on LJW are now 4+ years old, but everyone says they are legal. The discs have surface rust on them and it would look really nice if all the tyres and discs were replaced, just to look new. But to do that would be extravagant, as the mileage is under 2,000 miles per year. Having said that, I am driving over to pick up a spare alloy shortly, from another member, as I am having the spare refurbished. You have the skills and technical abilities to carry out all repairs yourself Ian. Hopefully when you have recovered, you can crack on with the task in hand.

I only wish it was brand new Phil.

It is a 2013 vintage Sir

LOL I remember the joke Billy Connolly told years ago about getting Sunburnt saying It takes the Scots a week to turn from blue to pink.

That new bridge is some feat of engineering eh!.

I thought what the heck I'll bite the bullet & crack on with it, took a load of painkillers & set to it.

I've done the fronts so that's a job crossed off the list. The sciatic was bad enough but my right knee has blown up like a balloon with kneeling down, I suppose decades of kneeling on concrete floors has taken it's toll The joys of getting old eh! I've got one of those velcro strap pads on. It's one step forward two steps back

Best Connolly one about holidays was when he was young. Used to go on holiday near Aberdeen, on the beach and his father used to tell him to get in and swim yah big jessie! Ten miles offshore there were oil rigs with warnings about wearing survival suits broadcast over the tannoy.

Car looks nice Jeff, similar to Trophy Blue, and the blue of the Subaru Impreza WRX, and the Skoda Octavia VRS

It is apparently one of their special upgrade paint jobs, have no idea what it's called though.

There are a few other dealers fit upgrades from the standard S Line spec as well such as the 19" alloys
