Good morning Phil, not too bad here, I hope everything is good with you. The snow here is now slowly starting to thaw but more could be on the way on the run up to Christmas.

Good morning Steve, so good reports from you about the weather. What’s it going to be like for Christmas your way? Is Caroline working? Yesterday Jessica soaked the fruit in alcohol in preparation for making the Christmas cake. I am on laundry duties today.

Hi Phil, yes Caroline is working Christmas day so we'll be having dinner on Boxing day. It'll seem strange Christmas day with no one around now that the kid's have all flew the nest

Morning all, it thawed really quickly last night. Last night I went out just after 6 and had to scape windscreen.. my other 75 was still covered in snow. Was out for 30mins max and snow had virtually all melted..

Blimey! I went for my overdue eye test at the opticians and am now £164 lighter
I was struggling a bit with middle distance with my varifocal glasses, My eyesight had deteriorated since my visit so I need some new lenses.

What a miserable day, It;s dark & chucking it down here.
