A interesting programme, and a nice prelude to my factory tour in the new year

My thoughts exactly, and the reason I cannot bring myself to watch it. How a country with as many car companies as were started here could manage to lose ownership of every single one beside Morgan I shall never know. Personally I consider it a national disgrace. But there we go.

Hi.
One thing that gets me is we started many foreign companies on car manufacturing.
BMW for example with the Dixi AKA the Austin 7
Sabra (Israeli company) With their version of the Triumph Herald.
What about Hindustan.
The Hillman Hunter was built in Iraq or Iran for a long time after it disappeared here.

Then when you look at the plant we sold abroad to car makers. The Czechs for example when they rebuilt the Skoda factory for the start of the 1000MB used plant from seven different British companies, including automated welding and foundry that was set up by Ford from Dagenham.
Even the Communists were happy to spend the equivalent of 50million pounds on that plant.
Thee sure is something wrong here now!!!

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
