I bought a comet and it took months to arrive. It is faulty as the bluetooth doesnt work, but as it was so difficult to get the thing in the first place im reluctant to send it off for repair as i fear i'd have sold the car by the time it came back!

I did ask him a few questions via this site but after an initial reply it all went quiet and being honest i've just given up rather than badger Sean as it just ends up stressing me out.

Its a shame as the unit in itself ( if the bluetooth worked) is really good and Id love to fly the flag for buying one but its all been a hassle.

Radioguy is clearly having problems in communicating with his unhappy customers and while he had assured me that he was taking steps to contact everyone who had an issue, I must assume by the number of posts since the new year that this is not happening to their satisfaction.

Earlier in the month, we took the step of removing his advertising banner and taking down his forum shop, but we kept him a member so he could still post and update folk on his trading situation. We thought that the best way forward in encouraging communication, however in light of the repeated comments on members own situations with him, it is clear we must now go further and remove him from the club.

If at some point in the future he has regrouped and can demonstrate that he has a good line of communication with his customers and that his supply chain is up to the task in hand as well as having a UK rep / installer available, we may consider allowing him back, but that would only be after receiving glowing testimonials from his existing customers.

As Sean is now unable to post on the boards, if you have any gripes please address them directly to him at the following email, [email protected] or via facebook or his website. He will not be able to use the club platform anymore, and I think we would all appreciate a cessation of posts and threads on the subject

Firstly, let me say that I'm quite new to the forum, so don't know the full history of this problem, other than what I've read on here, and have never had any dealings with Sean or his company.
But I don't understand what else the club should be doing. Unless I'm mistaken, the club isn't selling the products, Sean is. So how is the club liable for this? It has provided an outlet for a business to advertise it's products. This is all.
Not sure how the club or forum can be accused of "washing it's hands" of the business when it's not the clubs place to be sorting out the problems. It's the individual members who have a contract with Sean.

Well said...and I am sure all that can be done by the club has been done behind the scenes....I would be happy for all these threads to be closed now as it's getting like the Radioguy show on here.
All anyone waiting for goods or refunds can do is chase Sean direct or take legal action.
Then we can all get back to a normal forum about 75's and ZT's
