Been snowing here since 8:45, lying on the grass and paths, but not causing delays on the roads.

Much the same here Rich although it seems to be coming down heavier in the last 10 minutes , the missus is out in the new car & I think I've run the equivalent of a half marathon with restless leg syndrome

Tell me about it! Power still off, getting bored with Radio 2 so went into the garden to finish pruning etc I started yesterday. I went right off that idea when my fingers went numb. Had to use the wee gas stove to thaw them out! Bleedin painful as the feeling came back.

I get that almost every day this time of year, even with 2 layers of gloves, not the pain as they thaw out though.

I’m just enjoying some peace and quiet. The family has gone to India for three weeks so I have the place to myself which doesn’t happen often at all! So, making the most of it. I need to get my head straight A’s I’m stressed out to the max. And, my sleep for that matter!

I used to motorbike to work rain, snow and shine. During the winter, snow and ice on the roads, temperature at minus umpteen, used to be in agony as the feeling came back into my fingers.

Scottish Power engineering work overran, power didn't come back on until 17:50 instead of 16:30 as it was supposed to. Heating on full blast to get the house warmed up again.
