The outer ring of the bush that's left in the holder needs to be drifted out if you are going to fit Powerflex bushes.

Yeah job for a warmer day though, just getting feeling back in my hands 😖. Shouldn’t take much to remove as the rubber is just crumbling.

Little tip for getting the old ones off if they are tight on the lower arms; cut through the rubber and get the housings off, then hacksaw the inner ring just so it splits and they as good as fall off.

Used to follow the official method of removing the anti roll bar clamps, but after doing a few I just undo the two bolts holding the rear bush and leave everything else in place.

That’s exactly what I do, once you’ve crack to the bolt they normally come out easily. Well sometimes lol

Hi, I contacted DMGRS and he assured me that the pattern had changed and that they were genuine although there are cheaper copies of the same pattern around so I fitted the ones from DMGRS, for a living I am now a freelance photogrpher and one of my customers (a Peugot main dealer ) fitted them in return for some promo photographs of his dealership/staff/workshop etc which I will be doing today, so it all worked out ok, the mechanic did say there was a slight weep fromthe steering rack....not bad, do you know anything about that kind of problem ?
Cheers Vaughan

Hi, that's good you got the bushes fitted and again nice car!
What folk will be interested in is how long those type bushes actually last Vaughn compared with the more rubber design.

When you first posted and said you had bought them from DMGRS I thought they were different to the ones a local member purchased from him in 2015, whom came to mine to ask if I would fit them.

At that time as I always do I took a few photo which are here below.
1

As you can see they have the more substantial rubber inserts.

I wonder if he as changed supplier? or they have changed the pattern i am sure he will tell you if you asked ? but they certainly don't look as good as the previous ones above that was sold to the local member.
