The Latest Rescue
So......I am no longer an MG6 owner. After a myriad of trouble, Arnold Clark agreed to accept the car back and gave me a full refund. Shame, was a fabulous drive but plagued with electrical gremlins.
Anyway, the 6's departure opened up a space in the rescue centre. Meet Master Moonstone, a rather soggy 1.8 with a leaky rear light and only 42000 miles on the clock. An MOT has revealed a blown back box and a broken spring but other than that, the car is in good shape and beautiful to drive. So Kevin has sorted the rear light and the car is no longer letting in water but will take a while to dry out. It's had one valet so far, won't be the last, the fish tank smell is starting to disappear but still needs another scrub. Hope to get the exhaust and spring sorted soon and get the car on the road. Not telling how much we paid Oh and you may have noticed the wing mirror.....if anyone has a moonstone one lying about, feel free to PM me

Hi Anna.
Sorry to hear of your MG6 troubles. A quick talk a few weeks ago with the lad at Brysons wasn't good. Although enthusiastic they have had a myriad of problems, makes me wonder if they get ditched once they renew the contract. Emma certainly won't buy another modern MG after her rust issues.

The 6 was fantastic to drive, and a beautiful looking car, I just got fed up of all the warning lights!

Ours was riddled with random warning lights before just completely losing power. Dealers kept saying they had fixed it. They hadn't. Third time it did it at 70mph hubby had it recovered to the dealers and told them refund or court.
