Well that's a relief! Glad he's OK and thanks for the update.

Well one good thing has come of this... it's brought me back onto this forum 'from the dead' after a long lazy absence, and that's no bad thing.
Thank you too Trevor MurphyV310 for your PM from months ago, which I've only just read. Yes, my Radiocraft business is closed but I still am a loyal Rover 75 Tourer owner. 80,000 now on the clock from new. Her last major job: to collect a massive rack cabinet that will house the new kilowatt-class 405-line television transmitter for the London area. It went in - but only just! This project is what's keeping me very busy in the workshop at the moment. For the other nice comments, thanks - especially 'cos I've not been a regular here. Steve

Good to see you back on the forums Steve.
You'll be pleased to know the Retrovisor is working well, as is the TV1. If you don't remember me, I'm sure you'll remember rewinding the LOPT on our Bush TV! Cliff

Hi.
I'm glad it has all turned out OK. Nice to see you here again Steve and hopefully more often. I'm also impressed Cliff you have a TV1 & Retrovisor. I've been playing around with a spare TV22 I have and it has been modified with a BRC (Thorn) 950 Line output transformer, I have been able to resolve some of the low line standards 120, 180 & 240 lines @ 25Hz. The CRT is at present a 7FB7 Radar tube, quite a long persistence so not great for watching programs but good on stills. I'm now reverting it back to 405 lines and will be fitting a Mazda CRM93 Tube, these give very bright pictures as they are aluminised and for a Mazda tube, very reliable indeed. A lot of my stuff is on the Golbourne Forum and the set in question is here: http://golbornevintageradio.co.uk/fo...d.php?tid=6537 I also jumped onto Steve's thread on the NBTV with the set too. I have some you tube videos of some of my daft projects, give you an idea of the nonsense I get up to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCms..._as=subscriber
