After the meet this morning spent a couple of hours cleaning algae in garden,or(patio,) or (small backyard.), With 2.1/2 ltrs of fluid from B and M Store. 2hrs wasted. Was going to put up before/after photos, but there's no difference.
Power washer out tomorrow.

I wouldn't bother Richard I would not feed any more ammo to the trolls With this sort of thing, there are no winners, only losers. The worst outcome is, that the lounge is closed down, if it is proven to be used for settling an old score. Best leave the trolls to the mods eh Have a peaceful evening

Two options, the ignore button in the user CP or just ignore anyway. I chose the latter option.

Good morning all - from the sun-kissed edge of the North Yorks Moors. 'tis a lovely day with clear blue skies - a bit chilly but the sun should sort that out shortly.
I've got a joiner coming today to hang half a dozen interior doors - so my job is to get rid of the old ones. Current theory is to get them down to a size which will fit into the car and take them to the tip. They're very old, and consist of a thin veneer with what seems to be a corrugated cardboard filling - so I should be able to whizz through them with a circular saw.

Good morning all, Freddie and Rod

Rod I had a shock last year when the police smashed down the front door of the house in London. In brief, a neighbour rang them to say I was dead in the bath.

I had a bigger shock when the police said they had no money to pay for the locksmith, new locks and a new door.....£600

I like your approach of getting a joiner in to hang the 6 doors, as it’s so easy to hurt yourself doing it. Have a beautiful day

Many years ago, I did try to hang one of my own doors. After almost hanging myself in frustration, I ended up putting the new door in a skip, bought another and paid a joiner to fit it. Although I think I'm reasonably good at DIY, woodwork was never my strong point at school. I can remember having to make a small footstool as part of our first year's projects; when the teacher inspected the finished products, he shook mine a little - and it all fell apart. When I suggested it was nothing a few nails couldn't cure - I got a clip round the earhole
