Evening all, It's raining & has been really chilly today.....must be leading up to a bank holiday then

I'd just sat down to tea (pork chop/new spuds/carrot,swede mash & broccoli) when my sister rang saying dads Doctor wanted to see him about the blood tests & could I take them straight away.
No rest for the wicked.

The blood tests results show dads diabetic now amongst the rest of his ailments,He's got new medication and got a host of hospital appointments and also a kidney scan.

Good morning Ian, that’s not good news but it is a manageable condition, something which several of the chill outers live with and can attest to. It’s just as well your retired to help with his appointments

Morning all from damp but sunny SouthWest Essex. I was up at 03.30 this morning making tea as I was unable to sleep. After a pot of tea was drank I fell asleep in the chair.

No plans for today although I may travel somewhere coastal and get some photography done.

Morning Steve, Phil. Yes they needed to change his meds around & start new ones, that was the concern of his Doctor.
These blood tests always lead to an array appointments at NHS hospitals/clinics.

I go to the hospitals/clinics so regular with my parents that I'm on first name terms with most of the staff.
