Well, that was one way of killing a hour! Ging has a bracelet, leather strap with a gold clasp. The leather had come out of the gold "sleeve" at the clasp, she'd had a go at gluing it back in and managed to get superglue all over the lobster claw clasp, glued the bracelet absolutely solid closed. Had to sit and slowly paint the clasp and eye with acetone for about a hour to soften the glue enough to get the clasp open and properly clean the glue off it.

Had a excellent day with Michael. Between us we cooked Sunday lunch, even after quaffing a few ales. Prepared, cooked, eaten and washed up we settled down for a quiet period, well it was until my niece arrived with her fella in tow. They brought us both very nice looking Easter Eggs.
Tea made and we chatted. They then left to continue their trip around the relatives on Easter Sunday. Michael promptly fell into a deep sleep. I watched a bit of telly until my eyes closed. Now drinking more tea.

I have a friend, another doggy person, the woman I got Suzy from. She was just about as upset as we were when little Abbey left us. I’ve just heard from her, her Shih Tzu has had an unplanned litter as a result of being caught by her mother's male pug. My friend has made a beautiful gesture, the cutest one in the litter; the gorgeous wee girl in the photo below is ours. Obviously it'll be a few weeks before we get her. I'm not saying anything to Ging about it; I'll surprise her with it.
