Blimey - there's a lot of folk missing their breakfast this morning
The temperature seems to have risen by about 10°C up here - AND it has stopped raining (for the moment) - is this the proper Spring starting?

Morning Bob - how is the Cornwall search doing - anything likely in view?
I'm away down to Mevagissey, just South of St Austell, for two weeks in early June, complete with my tin tent
Let's hope by then we've got some bright, warm sunshine.

Good morning everyone, It's a grey old day & has been spitting with rain all morning, warmer than yesterday though.

We swore long ago never to have just one dog, slightly eases when you lose one. Once you feel ready find a new housemate, we ended up with two barmy Shih Tzus (Suzy and Pops) to fill the hole Milka left, thanks to my friend there's a wee ball of fluff in the pipeline to fill the hole little Abs left.

Thank you Jeff Steve No it's never easy when you lose a treasured pet especially ones that had so much character, The deed is done we buried in the back garden under the hazelnut tree.
I dare say we will be down to the local cats rescue centre when we're ready for another puddy tat.

Still searching. Never thought it would be so hard selling my place. Anyway looks like we may have a plan in place.
Let me know when you and the tin tent are down in Cornwall and perhaps we can meet up for a brew.

I dunno what happened it's related to my dodgy neck/back with trapped nerve/blood vessel damage according to my Doctor the last time it happened. I still feel like death warmed up. To top it off our eldest cat 16 year old Ernie had a stroke on Monday evening and when I came too on Tuesday he was blind and couldn't see eat or do toilet, My wife & daughter took him to the emergency vet this afternoon but there was nothing for him & sadly he was put down.

We're heartbroken and my missus is still sobbing over him in the conservatory, the weather has been teeming/sleeting down all day so I was unable to bury him.

I'll bury the little guy in the garden tomorrow, trouble is we've been in this house over 30 years & it will be a struggle to remember where all our pets have been buried.
Good day Ian, a sad and painful weekend for you. We send you our condolences and hope your pain eases soon.
