Good morning Bob, when I sold my parents house, I signed up with 3 different estate agents. Each of them wanted exclusivity, but I would not allow it. It took 12 months to sell the house. The successful buyer was a motorcycle and classic car restorer, doing restorations in his retirement. He knocked us down by 20,000 GBP as he said he wanted the extra to build an extension to the garage for his work. We agreed even though the 20K was a bit of a disappointment, but after a year of waiting to sell, it had worn us down. Sadly, we learned recently that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He had his own factory in engineering making machine parts and did the restorations in his retirement. How sad for him and his family.

Good luck Bob.....

Good morning all, What a change from the blue skies yesterday! It's wall to wall grey, much cooler & blustery.

Morning all - just got back from taking my daughter to the railway station - it's her spinster/hen "weekend" - lasts from breakfast this morning until they all get home Sunday evening.
Advance warning to residents of Edinburgh - they're headed in your direction

Like Ian's part of the country - it's turned cooler again here, with no sign of that big orange thing that was hanging in the sky yesterday.

She's under strict instructions not to show herself up - but once these women get a few shorts down their necks - who knows what could happen?
I accept no responsibility - she's old enough to accept it for herself
