Morning, same as the last few days, cloudy and cool. Little Maya is always so pleased when I come through in the morning although I'm not sure if she's happier to see me or the girls!

Cloudy damp start to the day here. Took Poppy up to my sons' house to pick up his 2 dogs,as i came back stopped outside front door,opened it ready then opened car door. Just as a cat run across main road. Quite a panic as the 3 of them decided to chase cat rather and go in house.

Afternoon all, It's been a nice sunny day again and that easterly wind has kept the temps down from getting too hot.....luvely jubley.

I've been doing some more fence painting & gardening whilst the missus is painting the walls in the house, a job I hate, I'm under orders to paint the bathroom ceiling tomorrow

Top tea tonight

Lancs hotpot, I soaked me pearl barley overnight so they're nice & plump

It smells really good

Sounds spicy that Steve. One thing I love that usually comes with these meals is the sticky rice, never been able to make it properly at home.

I've just had the first helping with baby beetroots & HUGE cheese n onion topped oven bottoms from Morrison's.

I'm going to need my elasticated pants on tonight because it looks like I'll be eating the lot

, the other two wont eat Lamb !!! they eat every other type of meat
