Morning all - just got home, in the fog, from the wedding venue after a fantastic day yesterday. Everything went as smooth as silk, the sun shone from 9 in the morning til nigh on 9 at night; I managed my speech without any hiccups and even managed a few laughs from the audience; the hotel staff were brilliant and did everything we asked for.
Once the formalities were out of the way, I spent a few happy hours chatting with friends and relatives, whilst imbibing a fair few bottles of Magners Cider.
A totally successful day. and the former Miss Laura Thrower is now Mrs Laura Crowe.
Oh - and the prize for worst joke of the century goes to the best man who came up with "it's been a very emotional day today - even the wedding cake is in tiers(tears)"
I think I'll chill for the rest of today - and then get down to the serious business of packing the caravan for our jollies
