Evening all, The sun came out this afternoon but I've been in bed since mid afternoon catching up on the sleep I've missed over the last few days because it's been to muggy to sleep.

There's a bonfire sized pile of garden cutting outside that the mad hacker (missus) has cut & slashed

from the front garden, I'm too scared to look before I've had a stiff drink.

Morning all from (almost) sunny Cornwall. We arrived safely at our home for the next two weeks (Mevagissey) yesterday afternoon, after a thoroughly boring M5/A30 journey. After 4 nights in Gloucestershire, without internet and mobile phone signal, I'm now back on the ether again.
I couldn't be bothered to put the awning up last night - it was very humid, so that's this morning's job.
What I have discovered already is that the on-site shop here stocks chilled Cornish Gold cider

Alongside a meal in the pub on Sunday, I taste-tested Thatchers Haze cider - a cloudy one - not bad at all, I'll try and track down further supplies.
It would be rude of me NOT to sample the local brews whilst I'm here - I think a minimum of one bottle per day is called for

Morning all from a cloudy day here,got the Mrs in hospital,suffering from stomach pains. Kept her in overnight for observation. It all goes back to the botched job they done of removing gall bladder 18mths ago.
