Did get some rain about 9.30 last night and a few flashes but not much not even a puddle out side.

Morning all from sunny Saltash.
Must have been hell of a storm last night as it took the covers off of the front of the cars, and they was securely tied down. Been out this morning and leathered them off and put the covers on the line to dry. And I slept like a baby, must have been that Malt I had.

Family, my youngest Daughter had a serious accident in Corfu, we fly out 11days ago and were transferred to Athen c/o the Greek Airforce on 20/7.. Fingers crossed we should be flying home on Monday . The devastation is unreal.. it’s been 24/7 on news and the reports and images quite Graphic. To make it worse just when the fires were brought under control, 2 day ‘s later we were hit with one of the worst storms I’ve seen, with land slides and flash flood on a biblical level. The area I’m in suffered badly, but the hospital was safe, as deliberately built on high ground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sort of Andy, last two weeks have been a bit of a nightmare. My youngest fell off a 1st floor balcony in Kovos and broke her back. Thank god it could have been a whole lot worse. To make it worse the helpful Travel insurance did want to know as soon as air ambulance was mentioned. The Greeks have been fantastic though. She had a serious compression fracture on L5 and 4, the bottom two vertebrae. She had plates and screws fitted on Tuesday, was able to stand briefly on Wed, walk with help on Thursday and improving every day from there. Should be home Early hours of Tuesday morning, fit to fly note permitting. Left oldest son looking after house lol so god knows what we’ll come back to. Watching another epic storm approaching lightning n all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
