Certainly hasn't bored. A sad tale, but with a happy ending, so glad for you.

If it's any comfort, when my Baby was hit a few years ago now, we went through a similar process. The upshot being that she came back from the bodyshop in better fettle than before the accident, as a few minor stone chips were sorted in the process. I have no doubt Grovey will be the same and you'll have many more years driving ahead

That's a bonus Matt, shout if you need the name of the paint shop where I had the bumper done, as you know they got the paint match spot on.

Of course had Grovey not had a slushbox, he would have been parked outside my house and none of these things would have occurred

Damn the original owner for not having a proper stirrystick gearbox

As an aside, Grovey was the test mule for the 160 upgrade in automatic format, lots of time spent inside that polished plenum
