You don't need to be an expert to understand the test criteria for diesels Mike - it is simply an opacity test for smoke.
Why not post up the details of this device you have discovered, and then we can have an informed debate on whether or not it could be effective, or if it was just coincidental that your car passed with it fitted. You say you bought these devices - how many have you got? . Last edited by Mike Noc; 11th March 2019 at 07:57.. |

And yet you still fail to post what exactly this "device" is that gives these miraculous results?? Why so secretive? Why not just link to the "device"?

In my experience a lot of diesel cars that fail there MOT on Emissions will pass once they have had a good run. 20 or 30 miles on a motorway at the legal limit is usually enough.
For good measure I usually put some injector cleaner in before the run and 9 out of 10 pass easily. If the car that is being tested has only done 6000 miles or less since the last test it is probably used for short runs so a good run is probably well overdue. |

In far 1988, our Group was already seeking for an ecologic product, SINCE during the last 100 years mankind had polluted the EARTH as never had been done in the previous 100.000 years, therefore now had come the time to start un-polluting.
In 1996 - SUPER TECH PROJECT begins. In 2006 - its CREDIBILITY phase had been completed. In 2008 - the TRUE worldwide commercialisation phase begins THANKS to the strong CREDIBILITY obtained through tests and test reports issued by OPINION LEADERS from 23 different COUNTRIES. ‘It is not the earth that belongs to man; it is man that belongs to the earth. All that happens to the earth will happen to the children of the earth’. I quote from their website, however I can still remember other such treatment and miracle whizzes from years ago, and they are just as nonsensical. What tends to cause issues with cars that otherwise exhibit excessive particulate emissions, are sooted up exhaust systems, this of course prior to presenting for test can be reduced dramatically by a high speed run in a low gear. I quote from my own MOT emission report Smoke reading Peak 1 = 0.07m-1 Zero Drift = 0.04 m-1 Average = 0.03 m-1 From a plated limit of 1.25 m-1 Anything with figures that exceed even the "no plate" default figures of 2.5 m-1 for non turbo, or 3.0 m-1 for turbocharged cars first used before 2008 must have lumps of coal dropping from the tailpipe, of have serious engine problems. Anyway, back to the original "wonder" pellet, it's yet another in a long line of complete rubbish, intending to separate the gullible from their money. Brian |
