Blooming heck Ian, that's great.

Eating fresh fruit & veg and making your own meals is the way to do it, as you say, smaller portions and reducing ones sugar intake makes all the difference.

I was eating large portions of everything, consuming at least 3700 calories per day, 1200 too much. I was a size 44" waist and now 36" same as you. I had a 50" chest, but now I'm 42" and my neck collar shirt size was 19", now its 16". I got my teen body back in just six months, the weight just fell off once I cut out all the rubbish.

This is the second time I've had to diet like this, the first time I put the weight back on within a year due to slipping back into old habits, but this time I realised I had to make some permanent diet/lifestyle changes.

You will have to put two photos together Ian, a before and after photo just to remind you to help you stick with it. I don't think you knew me when I was large, just look at that belly (side view was worst) lol. I'm not even breathing in on the 'now' photo, its quite surprising how the body can recover from being pushed to its limits.
