Couldn’t agree more, the government look to be doing away with sentences of 6 months or less going soft on crime, but couldn’t careless about people having their trade stolen away from them but s#um stealing their tools is ok

Insurance claim is starting to get complicated as “fabricated tools” ain’t covered and such like spending hours sorting out this mess out, it certainly looks like I was “targeted” as pointed out by others.

Police are always the same

I think you are right ie targeted, somebody definitely knows what you have and what you do.

Vigilantes are on the up. A few thugs getting beaten up will help them understand that society has had enough of these thugs. A big thick stick made from oak helps. I use mine as a walking stick officer, honest.

Although I've not needed your services as yet, I'm very sorry to hear this,as I know you've helped so many of us. It's great that you can talk so objectively to us all about it despite it hurting you both mentally and financially, plus the frustration of dealing with disinterested police and the time with insurance etc.I feel for you.

Some good advice on here to help. Do be careful on the restocking process and security and where tools located etc.as I know someone who was targeted in a burglary, suffered the hassle and loss of income , eventually restocked the missing tools etc., and then was targeted again. Not what you want to hear I know, but please do be careful and try and stay one or two steps ahead of this sc&m.

Apart from the checking someone locally offerring your tools for sale, do you think they could have gone abroad, as specifically targeted?

I wish I could offer some real help, but I wish you all the best in nailing these bathcubes and being able to move forward. What you do is appreciated

Kevin

Really very sorry for you Micky. Altruistic people like you do not deserve such treatment. Best wishes, hope you can replace everything without too many issues.

Happening way too often things like this - three works vans were robbed round my way all within an hour earlier this week, all of them containing tools.
Hope you manage to catch hold of the culprits Mick.

Of course that's what he meant Andy, I have a complete list of the genuine dealer tooling I sold Mick, along with the invoice from a couple of years back
