Default F1 British Grand Prix......Spoiler Alerts

Silverstone is here and so far in Friday practice Mercedes just about had the upper hand.

Looking forward to this one, especially as it will be live on Channel 4. With over-inflated prices, Sky has choked off access to quality sports for many people - me included!

Bottas on pole, Lewis 0.006 seconds behind him, Leclerc 0.079 seconds behind . . . . less than one second covers the top six, how did they sort out grid positions before digital timing

Just under an hour and a half before it's time to go racing.

Looks like it could be a very close race. Wouldn't like to call who will be on the top of the podium come the chequered flag.

Wow..........Another great race.

Well done Lewis

I know the safety car got him the lead of the race but I feel he would have got his team mate one way or the other.

Fastest lap of the race on the last lap and with old tyres as well. Great stuff!

A great race with great real racing and historic too with LH clocking up 6 Silverstone wins. Something that never fails to please is his constant praise for the team and public support. I think Sebastian let his exasperation spill over a bit.

A decent race, with a remarkable milestone achievement for Lewis.

I've said before that the coverage is getting worse, and again this was proved by the chopping of camera views at important times, then to view an empty track.

(sponsors love it when their mark talks to the fans!)
