In addition to what the others have said, I would say that a 15+ year old car is only worth buying if a) it has a solid maintenance/repair record and condition to match or b) you are intending to keep it long term as in the latter case expenditure to bring it up top scratch would be justified. Either scenario should ensure reliability. |

There is a Cowley built 75 2.5 with what looks like pretty much every conceivable extra on it listed on ebay which is not too far from me.
Very tempting indeed but my head says hold out for the diesel. I just love all the little touches the 75 had in the early years. It really makes the car for me. |

My 2003 cdti 164k zt-t will take me anywhere without a thought I think nothing of doing 8 hour drives and 300+ mile journeys
