Default 2018

Hi.
I don't post that often these days for many reasons.
2018 is likely to be a difficult year. Anne is to get a Hysterectomy on the 11th of January. Thereafter her recovery time I will be put on the list at long last for the new knee I have needed for some time. A recent rise in BP has been controlled by raising my meds to a higher level than before my double CABG, the consultant and GP are happy enough though and I will definitely get my OP.
Unfortunately with the raised BP both recently and a prior to my CABG there is damage to the arteries that feed to the left eye, I have had some vision problems but it's hoped that the damage may not worsen any further, if my BP rises again then it could mean another CABG or stent.
We have never had a break or a holiday for over 11 years and we both feel lifeless and exhausted so we are now saving up and hope to go away later next year.

Hope you all had a good Christmas and I wish good fortune to all for next year.

Hi Anna.
Yes I agree, 2017 has been grim for us with Anne being admitted to twice this year for haemorrhages, then our son went bankrupt and had to close his shop so in a way I'm glad to see the back of 2017 but 2018 hasn't got a lot going for it. Plus I'll be 64!!!!
Hope you are well.
