Default Storm Eleanor

Storm Eleanor has been upgraded to an amber warning for Northern Ireland, South West Scotland and Northern England. Its already causing 90+ mph gusts and flooding in Northern Ireland. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-42538533

Good call, just remembered I've still got some beers sitting on the back door step to keep them cool.
Better get them back inside and batten down the hatches for later.

Batten down the hatches. I wonder if it's named after Eleanor Rigby! or my shout Lindisfarne's 'Lady Eleanor' God what memories.

It's got rather breezy down south too. Yellow wind warning here, 2 neighbours going to need new fences already.

Blowing a hooley here - it’s coming up the Channel off the Atlantic. Lights have flickered a fair bit - we lost power NYE/NYD from just before midnight to 5am.

May well happen again

Just south of you of course - my Aunt and Uncle are out at Tile Barn on the Andover Road.

Loads of trees - always worry about them - will probably pop up to see them soon as whatever has happened - they are always “alright” as they don’t want to bother us.
