Default Extended key range

Don't laugh yet but I was watching top gear and saw JC checking the range of the key fob. He was out of distance for it to work so he put it to his head pressed the button and the car opened . Well I tried it today and it does work any ideas why?
Is Trikey about anywhere been trying to contact him .

I have known about this trick for a number of years now, but I believe that the oral cavity in the head increases the range.

Your body acts as a larger aerial for the keys signal.

As far as I know he is now working in Suffolk during the week. If you have PM'd him he or Debs will reply to you.

Here's where some clever people have tried to explain it.....
But I reckon it's magic.

I always put the remote against my head. Radiation hasn't affected me in the slightest

Cool

Dont forget we are full of electric pulses to make our muscles etc work so i guess it boosts the range....
