You would have thought that the Germans with their history would have been a bit more sensitive about gas chambers
It beggars belief that the top honcho's at VAG signed off something like this after the dieselgate debacle, I don't think they could have given diesel a worse press image if they'd tried. Braindead.

Hi.
This has to be one of the most disgusting things I've read about for a while. Ian you are so right about the German's history, just the kind of thing that Adolf would sign off as OK. To subject Humans and animals to this sort of thing is beggars belief. I suppose with Volkswagens history it's only to be expected. It also wont do the Diesel lobby one bit of good and could in fact make the situation worse.

Question.
Terrible. Terrible. Reading items such as this makes me question the ability of the human race to ever reach a true state of enlightenment.

''Don’t judge a whole race on the actions of a few.''
Fair point, however it seems rather more than just a few sadly. |

To my mind - Forums such as this reflect the general populations mood and feelings on a subject far better than the extremes of the Daily Wail and the Grauniad. So far not one Rover/MG enthusiast has said such testing is a good idea - and whilst I would be the first to admit we may be an odd lot due to our common interest - I still believe we have far more in common with the average person than someone who thinks putting animals in a gas chamber and poisoning them is acceptable. It isn’t - and I do not think for one moment that the Human Race as a whole thinks so either. |

Do the tests on people if they volunteer they have a choice animals don't. It just disgusts me that animals are put through torture for the sake of cosmetics for example..
