Default Paint shop

Morning All

Can anyone recommend a good paint shop in Yorkshire?
I am looking to replace my bootlid and want to use a company who can do a good paint match (colour scanning) with the rear wings etc, so it looks right on the car.

Cheers

Andrew

I have no recommendation but when looking at a paint shop look at the type of vehicles they are working on.

Lots of spare bootlids around. May be a lot cheaper and "matched" better than new paint with old.

Ahh but it's a MK.1 lid (with boomerang Spoiler) going onto a MK.2 car, so can't get a lid in the Mk.2 colour

There is one near me, that I have used a couple of times and can recommend. Station Road Body Shop, Kippax. 0113 532 7987

They made a brilliant job of my bike panels and pulled out and sprayed up my 75's crushed sill as good as new.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I have heard Cleckheaton body repairs are good. They have done a few monogram MG's.
