Default Fuel Gauge

David (Bogbrush82) has a problem with Tarquin, the fuel gauge is reading permanently empty. The range also says 0 miles. Any ideas?
He can't post himself, as he is in hospital, recovering from a hip operation

Do an IPK test first, see if the gauge is working.

Get well soon David.

Thanks you everyone. I didn't post anything yesterday because after the op I was dosed up on pain killers. I'm fine now though, so I can confirm what dad has said, since it happened to me the day before I went in. Only difference then was it came back to life after turning the engine off and on again.

Update - kept an eye on the fuel gauge after being discharged from hospital (dad was driving) and it shot up to over half full, before going slowly back down to its true reading of between half and a quarter.

Seems like it can't figure out exactly how much fuel is in the tank for some reason. 🤔
