Default Rover 75 rear wheel bearing hub - ordered SNR received FAG

Hi,

17 days ago I ordered two rear bearings/hubs from Autodoc - they arrived today, better late than never.

What I actually ordered was the SNR part which I thought would get me the original - well it didn't :-( What I got was an SNR box with an NTN booklet and a FAG bearing/hub. I note that a couple of others have had a similar experience.

Now, although the FAG part is reputed to be a quality part, it is machined, rather than the cast part of the original, and has the reluctor ring clipped onto the outside.

My question is: has anyone had experience of the FAG bearing/hub should I stick with it or go for a replacement? I did get them from Autodoc for £43.00 each, so not too expensive. They actually sell the FAG part for £7 more.

Tommy :-)
