A little more info: The n/s hub was rusted on so needed to be gently prised off, this side had been changed under warranty by nationwide some 15years and 100000 miles ago, and just happened to be aftermarket, with reluctor ring clipped on, which of course I damaged whilst removing the hub :-(. So I would have been forced to change one side . The o/s was not so badly seized to the shaft so came off easier and is original SNR with internal reluctor ring.

Tommy :-)

My autodoc order has now cleared customs, don't know which customs or how much longer it will take to get to me - no response from them regarding me cancelling order yet.

I normally go for pattern parts myself and don't usually have a problem.

This time having changed the hub twice (and the OE bearing wasn't even the problem after 160k miles- it was the ABS pick-up)
- I'm sure it was just bad luck and managed to get 2 duff ones, but I will pay the extra in the hope I won't have to do it again.

(Just a hope - even big name brands turn out duff ones and it wouldn't surprise me if I am able to find one)

My order has now arrived, ordered SNR bearing, received FAG bearing in SNR box with NTN booklet.
